The story
No call centres. No subcontractor roulette.
HD Trade Services is run by Hayden Drew, a Brisbane plumber and gas fitter who started his apprenticeship in 2011. A decade on the tools showed him everything wrong with how the industry treats people: hidden fees, missed arrival windows nobody rings to apologise for, and work sold because it pays commission rather than because the house needs it.
This business runs on the opposite. The person who answers your call is the person who prices your job and the person who does the work. Hayden is licensed across plumbing, drainage, gas fitting, roofing and air conditioning, and the van carries enough stock to finish most jobs on the first visit.
From a burst pipe at 2am to a hot water changeover or a new split system, the standard stays the same. You get told what's wrong in plain English, you approve the price before anything starts, and the job gets done once, properly.

How we work
Three rules we never break.
Done properly, once
The cheap shortcut costs more the second time, so we fix the cause rather than the symptom. When a patch is the right call, we say so and tell you honestly how long it should hold.
Priced before we start
You approve the price before a tool comes off the van. If the scope changes mid-job, the work stops and you get a phone call first. Nothing gets quietly added to an invoice.
Straight answers
If a repair isn't worth doing, you'll hear it from us first. We'd rather lose a job than sell you something you don't need. That's how you stay someone's plumber for twenty years.
